For young people living in UN refugee camps, war has not only altered the path of their lives, it interrupted their education at a crucial stage. While the fighting in the Middle East is far from over, refugee families and IDPs will eventually need to return home or resettle elsewhere. Without access to schooling or vocational training, these youths will find it extremely difficult to make a living. The Noor Center offers computer training and courses in English for teens and young adults so that they can learn the skills they’ll need to find jobs back at home, in the local marketplace, or wherever they resettle.
